Meet Dr. Krista Frank

Discovering Chiropractic

I grew up in a small town in Ohio with my mom, dad and brother. I was a competitive dancer throughout my life. Ultimately that is what brought me to discover chiropractic. I always knew I wanted to help people; I just wasn’t sure how. That is until I got under chiropractic care as a junior in high school due to a dance injury. I was amazed by the idea of helping patients realize their body’s innate ability to heal—without the use of drugs or surgery.

Education and Certifications

Before becoming a chiropractor, I completed my bachelor’s degree at Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania. I majored in biology and minored in business. From there I moved to Georgia to attend Life University and pursue my Doctor of Chiropractic. While in school, I became passionate about caring for prenatal and pediatric patients.

I thus went on to start my certification process through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and will be completing the certification this fall. One of the most rewarding experiences, while I was in school, was my mission trip to Haiti. Being in the mountains and serving the native people of the country was truly life-changing.

My Vision

It’s exciting to be a part of the Wave of Life Chiropractic team. I look forward to start serving the community through chiropractic and education! My hope is to have babies adjusted from birth to adulthood. By doing so, our world becomes a better place—less dependent on drugs and surgeries and less pain-based. Let’s start working toward your health goals and living life to your optimum potential!

In My Spare Time

Virginia Beach is a brand-new location for me as I start this new chapter. I fell in love with it the first time I came to visit the office a few months before graduation. Here, I have the beach, all four seasons and the ability to go hiking all in the same spot.

I spend most of my free time taking care of my puppy Olive. We love going for walks on the beach and meeting new people at the local dog parks. I enjoy being active in many different ways, but my favorite is yoga. I love the relationship between mind, body and spirit and how much it correlates with chiropractic. In fact, I love it so much that I went on to get my teaching certification. I also enjoy spending time with family and friends, exploring new places and crafting.
